Wheat ears. Happy Thanksgiving to my 365 friends who celebrate today.

Interesting for me: Ceres was the Roman Goddess of agriculture and grain. The word cereal is derived from her name. She is accredited with the discovery of spelt, an ancient strain of wheat and the knowledge of how to grow, fertilize and harvest cereal crops.


Now thats interesting about Ceres! Grain is so important - unless you are gluten free!

I'm always impressed how you make ordinary items "wheat" look so fascinating. I think because it is in b&w, we can see more of the details. Wonderful capture and processing. :)
