2016-11-05 life is better with fresh baked cookies

I got one of these homemade mason jar cookie gifts, and did as said on the recipe. They supposed to be American style chocolate cookies. Hmmm,... fail!
But even if they turned out flat, they still taste good, but not at all like real cookies.

I need to add Grand Marnier to my chocolate chip cookies. I only just triple the vanilla. Yours have a much better 'kick'.

@joysabin ;-) You found my secret trick,... Grand Manier and orange zests add some special but fine flavour to a lot of baking goods. But I have to try out the vanilla trick too.

Beautiful! Even a "fail" can sometimes be a photo op and this was a good one! I should think that if all the ingredients were there, it had to taste good! See Pam's photo http://365project.org/pamknowler/365-year-4/2016-11-06 where she did her best to come up with "Southern FriedGreen Tomatoes". Even with some ingredient substitutions, they look delicious!
