What a gorgeous hike through a wonderful enchanted forest. Top ten forest walks we ever did. So special with all the moss, lots of fungi (even a couple of chanterelles), a trail meandering through the forest, little and high waterfalls and the lovely light of the evening sun, overflowing the scene with a warm glow. Enchanting indeed. We would not habe been surprised, if a little fairy turned up and swirled around.
BTW, this is the first pic I post with an interims camera to replace my broken one, at least while travelling. As we happened to be in a little town in Scotland yesterday, I walked in in the only electronics „store“ and spent my travel pocket money on the only dslr camera they had on stock. :-), by clicking on a screen. Like online shopping in a store with no choice. So I‘m the owner of a tiny lil’ Canon now, with a simple kit lens. Having a backup for the backup.
Congrats on the new back-up to the back-up and finding this beautiful forest too. The light, lines and curve of the path make this a stunning image, no matter what camera you use. :) fav
@lmsa Hi Louise The start point is at the Garry River, west from Invergarry. We did hook several hikes together, but the beautiful forest is on the Allt na Cailliche Waterfall trail.
