High winds and heavy rain battered our country and especially the town of Zurich last night. Rain, hail and winds of up to 135 kilometres per hour were recorded. Causing flooding, broken and uprooted trees and a lot of damage.
This is only a puddle, but the lake is full to the brim, and there is only like 20cm before it overflows. (Yesterday they said its about one meter!)
And more rain is expected during the rest of the week.
It should have been my first day in the office after working from home, for a year or so,... But there was no way of commuting today. Zurich was closed for everyone,... I give it a try tomorrow again.-
What a wild storm. I hope that the flooding recedes and causes no further damage and no additional damage due to storms. Beautiful photo with the silhouettes and reflections.
