My potted Chess-Flowers from my balcony are doing well, after this mild winter. And there are two lilies open, and several to come.
But as we just learned from the passing of a friend today (over 90), I will probably not seeing the blossoms in the same way, as I did before.
Never heard these flowers called that before....my fritillaria in the garden are not in flower yet but I hope I can get as good a capture as yours when they are.
