The lesson was to shoot in manual mode, use the light meter to properly exposed, overexposed, and underexposed the shot and see how the colours & shadows change. They said to capture the sunset, but I'm not one for following all the rules and went out in the morning to get the sunrise instead. (I'm thinking it's kinda the same thing.) Then of course I had to convert it to black and white for the month of flashofred2018.
Well it looks like your sorting your settings out very well, its a lovely resulting image Nova, I may have been tempted to reduce the speed and increased the aperture a couple of stops to gain a little more detail :)

Thanks to you all for your kind words. It was even more awesome in colour, but in b&w the bird is the star of the image. :)
