Pretty bird

I spotted this male pheasant beside the road, while out near Devil's Island. I've never been this close to one before and thought his colours were very impressive.

We had a few very mild days with some rain, so most of our snow has melted, but not to worry, winter is not over yet. I'm sure we will get more before spring arrives.

@peterday LOL. I've learned this past year, that birds are easier to capture when not moving. Persistence is the key Peter, you can do it!
