Thanks everyone!! This was a fascinating mushroom to watch grow. We've had so many growing in the yard this year, but you're right Colleen- I wouldn't eat it for dinner!! Alia- this 'was the actual color- no processing other than putting the shots in the collage. Sara's Dad, this the same mushroom at different stages- a few days apart. Eventually it turned brown and died. A few new ones have popped up in other places.
FAV! I love me some mushrooms. These are different ones on same day, right? I have thought about shooting one each day (or twice a day..they can change fast at times) and collaging that.
@cimes1 Thanks Carole. We've had a bumper crop of mushrooms in our yard this year. Each time I think I've gotten all of them, a new one pops up. I think I like these red ones best of all.
@simster Thank you Simmy. I am using an online program called Picnik. The basic program is free. You do basic collages with that as well as some special effects, text and framing. There is also a "premium" package which is very affordable (around 20 U.S. dollars). It's not like Photoshop or the other more extensive programs people can load into the computer, but it has suited me just fine. The Premium package has more options in the effects and collages etc. This collage can be done in the basic "freebie". And it has the basic border frame around it. Picnik.com should take you to the home page.
@christinecb Thank you Christine! We had a bumper crop of unusual and pretty mushrooms this year thanks to all the rain. I appreciate your comments. Thanks for stopping by!
