Light Through the Blinds 6

I couldn't decide which one of these to post as the finale to the Light Through the Blinds Series, so I put them together in a collage. The version on the left was part of my attempt to turn linear blinds into a curved miniature world. I really couldn't pull it off without the right programming, but I didn't have the heart to completely delete it either! The one on the right has had the neon effect applied to it after the Hypnotic effect was applied first. Looking at these two together makes me think I may have missed my calling as an ink blot designer!
I do like the red one - its more dramatic!

Very interesting Ann!
I thought they were fractal images.

i can understand why you couldn't choose - glad you posted both!
January 21st, 2013
They are both very dramatic and awesome in their own right. I can see why you couldn't decide.

Cool processing on both images. You are getting better and better and better with these blinds.

I love the collage - it really shows off the contrast of the 2.

Wow, this is so cool
January 21st, 2013
Both have their own different appeal. You'll be able to publish a "coffee table book" after you're done with all of these!

@httpgeffed Thank you Colleen!
@dakotaburns lol Donald- thankfully they're done!! Tomorrow I'll post a new "original" shot to torture in processing for this week- lol.

Beautiful abstracts! Love both pics! I wouldn't have been able to decide either! Wonderful processing. You'd never know these were once blinds! Great job! Well done! :)

Beautiful abstracts.
January 21st, 2013
They are both wonderful. I wouldn't have been able to choose either, so your choice of a collage is very smart!
January 21st, 2013
Oooh! These are so pretty! I don't blame you for not choosing - they are both beautiful in very different ways :)
January 21st, 2013
Gorgeous - both of them I could not choose either.
January 21st, 2013

What an amazing design! You are so creative...and not afraid to think outside the box.
January 21st, 2013
Especially love the red one. Your creative efforts certainly do shine!
January 21st, 2013
I love how these are so different from your other shots in general. Way to go Mrs Creative!
January 21st, 2013
Both beautiful though neither anything like the original - amazing!
January 21st, 2013
I think they are both great, love the red but I also love the detail on the b&w one. I can't believe you got such great art out of just a photo of blinds....well done Ann =)
January 21st, 2013
I think the non-symmetricality comes out best in the black and white version, anyway it's a far cry from Venetian blinds.
January 21st, 2013
For me, it is the b and w...hands down!
January 21st, 2013
I adore them both and I think Escher would love them

Thank you, thank you, thank you, to each and every one of you! Some of your comments made me chuckle, all of them made me smile! You give me way too much credit in the creativity department, but it's true these are a far cry from the original! I really enjoyed this week's processing as it really did morph from the sedate to the sublime. I will definitely have some interesting things to do to future photographs on those days when inspiration is lacking. These edits prove you can make anything look interesting with the right effect! Thanks again for all your kind words!
