The sun might look warm in this Golden Hour shot, but it was a brisk day at 50 degrees and a constant wind. Lots of leaves are down and the wood stove is burning at night. Winter is on its way.
Yes, it was quite cool today, and I think it is going to be a little cooler tomorrow. I also hear there is a storm somewhere in the area that could possibly bring some snow. I really hope not.

I really like the warm glow from this cold sunset. It highlights the red leaves on the forest floor, and showcases the trees in dramatic silhouette. Well-worth your effort to get the shot! :)
