I was heading out this morning and was greeted by a flock of turkeys running across the road! Since I was driving directly in to the sun, it was hard for my little point and shoot to "see" what I was taking a picture of. I was hoping I'd get some strong silhouettes, but instead I got one major solar flare! I decided to give the picture a dreamy quality. Mmmmmm I can almost taste Thanksgiving turkey now!
Great catch, Ann! I bet they are a bit afraid because their holiday is coming up! Although hunting season for these guys must be done now. I like how you processed it to make the sun flare work for you. Well done :)
Thank you everyone! My apologies for being AWOL for a few days! I've had a busy week with photo club and church activities. I'll be catching up with you asap!
@leananiemand Thank you Leana! It's a bit tricky to shoot directly in the sun with a little point and shoot, but I think I did the best I could with a good result.
@edie Thanks Edie! I was really hoping for a stark clean silhouette, but the poor little camera just couldn't cope with all that light! This was a happy second best.
