I had a busy day today- putting together some final preparations for the arrival of my grandsons tomorrow! (And their parents too (o: ) As the sun was beginning to fade, all the shots I'd thought of taking seemed less likely to happen. And with a few projects left on the list of "things to get done today", there was little time to pick an alternate shot and set it up, so the "ten seconds to find something and shoot" game was born. Walked into the living room, zeroed in on a subject and "click"- that's the shot of the day: two fallen sunflower petals on a pretty doily.
My views and posts may be spotty over the next few days but I'll try to keep on top of things as best I can.
My thanks to all of you!! I truly appreciate all the comments and feedback on a shot I was a little tentative over. I apologize as I'm about to fall behind on your pictures. But I do promise to get caught up as soon as I can.
Nice shot, Ann. Great processing. It has texture and it looks like a painting that belongs on a museum's wall. Very pretty. Have a great time with your family
