Authors Day

Went back into the archives to find a shot for today's holiday (Authors Day). This was the writing desk of Gifford Pinchot, former governor of Pennsylvania and the man attributed with creating the National Forest Service with President Theodore Roosevelt. So elegant!

@randystreat I think they were ink stamps. I'm sure he sent out a lot of official documents from this home, so they were probably related to that. But there are quite a few, so what they actually are is up for grabs!
