We started out our final day in Cape May at a new pancake house we discovered. The pancakes were heavenly (I got mine with fresh strawberries and whipped cream!!) and the décor was lovely. We learned from our waitress that the owner did all the decorating herself and is a master gardener. But I don't think she grew the flowers in this window...because they're not REAL! They're decals!!
Thank you Allison!
Thank you Taffy!
Thank you Vikki!
Make sure you take a good look at those flowers- they're "special"!
@summerfield I do dream in color as far as the dreams I can remember go. But I'll leave the editing to the computer and keep the dreams realistic with a touch of the impossible so I know I'm dreaming- thank you Vikki!
My thanks to all of you for your lovely comments on this photo (one of my favorites from our trip to Cape May) but I also wanted to redirect you to the commentary again because I think I was too cryptic in saying the owner did not grow the lovely geraniums in the window. Actually NO ONE grew them!! It was also fun to see how the picture somewhat fooled you into thinking they were 3-D. Only Sally and Alia noticed that something was not quite right! Good for you ladies! You get the 365 award for being observant today!
You Dixie- that's not a bad idea. I just bought some tractor decals for my grandson's birthday. I might have to get my own pictures of geraniums though as I'm not sure what the copyright laws would be on these.
Great shot, Ann! How clever that they are decals! She should lower them just a smidge and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless you were there to see it!
@prttblues Thanks Bev! It was as noticeable when you're sitting there- probably because you can see with your eyes that they are not real. It was interesting how the shot made them look more 3D than they actually were!
Thank you Allison!
