Yes, I went to Walmart and bought little worker guys JUST FOR THIS CHALLENGE and not my grandsons. I need help.
Artist : Mucho Macho Man is a retired American thoroughbred race horse who won the 2013 Breeder's Cup Classic. Named after the Village People's song "Macho Man", he has a somewhat remarkable story for a race horse. He was born late in the year so he often competed against horses who were older and more experienced. He also underwent surgery for breathing difficulties and came back to compete for several more years. He finally retired from racing in July of 2014 and now lives at Adena Springs where he is putting his genetics to good use.
Album Title Quote: We live in a time of transition, an uneasy era which is likely to endure for the rest of this century. During the period we may be tempted to abandon some of the time-honored principles and commitments which have been proven during the difficult times of past generations. We must never yield to this temptation. Our American values are not luxuries but necessities- not the salt in our bread, but the bread itself. Jimmy Carter
I got a kick out of the product hype for these fellows. If they really had an album, they'd probably put it on the back of that too: Help the Gear Force team as they use their powerful John Deere Equipment to tackle any task! No matter the size, this hardworking crew is ready for any off-road adventure. Gear up for Gear Force!
Well, everyone needs props!!! Yes, I remember the Village People singing Mucho Machao Man!!! I loved those guys!! You just need an Indian and a Cop to finish the group!! LOL The bread looks delicious!!! Fantastic presentation and would be great for an album!!!
FAV!
@dibzgreasley Thanks Debs! The song was "Macho Man" and the horse was named after the song. If you want to hear the song- click on the link. @cashew Thanks Kathy! The song was "Macho Man" and the horse was named after the song. If you want to hear the song for old times' sake, click on the link. I'm happy with the construction guys. You wouldn't believe how hard it was to find them!! @thistle Thank you Joyce! @sangwann Thank you Dione! @summerfield Thank you Vikki! The critters wanted to pose for this one too, but I told them it was someone else's turn! @nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! The sad thing is I didn't even consider these for the grands! Haha- but they'll be able to play with them when they visit. @kt8ird Thank you Kate! @gerry Thank you Gerry! @bkbinthecity Thank you Brian! @altadc Thanks Alta! @rubicon Thank you Lynn! @pyrrhula Thank you Pyrrhula! I always like to include where the artist and album name came from. Sometimes it's fun to learn about them. @janiskay Thanks Janice!
What a creative shot, Ann! I can't believe you bought the worker men specifically for this challenge. That's too funny. I love how they are working on the bread. What a great idea. You don't need help. You are fantastic and very talented and creative. Fav for all those reasons - and the photo makes me chuckle.
love the background too. I'd be appalled at the idea of giving such a cool toy to grandchildren. That's right, they can play with grandma's toys at grandma's.
@prttblues Thank you Bev! Well, you know I think it's one of the hazards of 365- you buy toys for yourself and not the children in your life (if you have them). @francoise Thank you Francoise! You made me laugh. Of course I'll let them play with... one. @pennyp Thank you Penny!
yes, deb, you read me correctly. i can pay for the ace membership. but we need fist to set up our group account. which means we have to settle on the name. so far, "toyables" and "it's a toy's life" are the only viable names. the other two names are registered names and my lawfirm acts for the companies that own them and we constantly go after people or entities that use those names anywhere including the internet. :-) if it's easier for peeps to discuss this privately, my e-mail is vikkisummerfield@gmail.com.
so once we've come up with the name, deb can set up the account and i can then email ross about the ace membership.
My email is debbie.buzz@gmail.com. Will email with other ideas. Yes, then I can set up the group and get started.
Ann has suggested that perhaps our first theme could be a take off on those name tags that say, "Hello, My Name Is..." and we could use this as a way to introduce one (or more) of our toys.
I agree Taffy, I like email too! We have addresses for Vikki, myself, Taffy and Ann, so please let me know yours. I'll email everyone later today with updates.
@summerfield@bill_fe@taffy@olivetreeann@dibzgreasley hey you guys.... So this is about the toy project? Vicki! Are you going to manage it?! :0) my email is
espyetta1@gmail.com
If you cannot get me at that address for some reason.... Tag me on here again. I have another email address but would like to use the one above because I get less email on it and will be less likely to have messages buried in notifications emails
@dibzgreasley where is he beginning of this toy conversation??! Seems like you had been talking to Vicki before this. I saved all you guys' emails but I do not see Ann's and I guess Bill's ... I know I do not really need them but was just saving them in case needed
Yes, I've offered to manage it. I will email everyone later this afternoon with an update, so thanks for your email address. Ann's isOlivetreeann@mail.com Cheers

Thanks for offering to pay for the ace membership Vikki.
Vikki has my email address, I'd prefer she send it to you all rather than posting it online. She can copy me on it, and then i'll have all of yours also. I agree, much easier to keep track of thing in email instead of searching through obscure threads.
i had to comment here as we're not allowed to access our personal e-mails from our computers. in any case, we may want to stay away from the word "toy" or "toys" or "toying" as well as the other names suggested previously are all registered trademarks, trade names, and business names. i've searched all possibilities and i've gone through stuff i shouldn't be looking at. but since "toy" or "toys" is a generic name, we can just go with that if it's not taken on 365 yet. we can then have a tag of @toyson365 or some similar stuff. if you have any other name to suggest, tag me here so i can look it up in the register. i will explain at length why getting a unique name is quite important.
@summerfield You said you'd explain later...so ....I guess I should not ask this, but is the legal problem with the group name or taking and posting of pics of toys ...is there a copyright problem? ????
Sent out an email today- but will suggest this here too: TWWOT (meaning The Wonderful World of Toys)- makes for a simple tag too. And sounds like Twat if you sound it out. Toys on 365 is ok too.
Are we all straight on the emails now?
And ditto on the THANKS Vikki for the ACE account!!

sorry, "it's a toy's life" may have already been registered but i will check tomorrow our database to see if it and "toyables" are registered names.
i have to be careful because some people at the office visit 365 to check on my posts.
