Album Cover Challenge 37 by olivetreeann

Album Cover Challenge 37

Yes, I went to Walmart and bought little worker guys JUST FOR THIS CHALLENGE and not my grandsons. I need help.

Artist : Mucho Macho Man is a retired American thoroughbred race horse who won the 2013 Breeder's Cup Classic. Named after the Village People's song "Macho Man", he has a somewhat remarkable story for a race horse. He was born late in the year so he often competed against horses who were older and more experienced. He also underwent surgery for breathing difficulties and came back to compete for several more years. He finally retired from racing in July of 2014 and now lives at Adena Springs where he is putting his genetics to good use.

Album Title Quote: We live in a time of transition, an uneasy era which is likely to endure for the rest of this century. During the period we may be tempted to abandon some of the time-honored principles and commitments which have been proven during the difficult times of past generations. We must never yield to this temptation. Our American values are not luxuries but necessities- not the salt in our bread, but the bread itself. Jimmy Carter

I got a kick out of the product hype for these fellows. If they really had an album, they'd probably put it on the back of that too: Help the Gear Force team as they use their powerful John Deere Equipment to tackle any task! No matter the size, this hardworking crew is ready for any off-road adventure. Gear up for Gear Force!

Oh go on- you know you want to listen to it now:

(But be warned- it's not as innocuous as the YMCA song. However I did manage to find a video that only has the music!)
Awesome shot

Bev
What a creative shot, Ann! I can't believe you bought the worker men specifically for this challenge. That's too funny. I love how they are working on the bread. What a great idea. You don't need help. You are fantastic and very talented and creative. Fav for all those reasons - and the photo makes me chuckle.
October 7th, 2014
love the background too. I'd be appalled at the idea of giving such a cool toy to grandchildren. That's right, they can play with grandma's toys at grandma's.
October 7th, 2014
Haha, love this.
October 7th, 2014
@prttblues Thank you Bev! Well, you know I think it's one of the hazards of 365- you buy toys for yourself and not the children in your life (if you have them).
@francoise Thank you Francoise! You made me laugh. Of course I'll let them play with... one.
@pennyp Thank you Penny!
October 8th, 2014
Cute!
October 11th, 2014
@vesna0210 Thank you Vesna! I did have fun with this one.

@summerfield @olivetreeann @summerfield @taffy @dibzgreasley @espyetta @bill_fe

yes, deb, you read me correctly. i can pay for the ace membership. but we need fist to set up our group account. which means we have to settle on the name. so far, "toyables" and "it's a toy's life" are the only viable names. the other two names are registered names and my lawfirm acts for the companies that own them and we constantly go after people or entities that use those names anywhere including the internet. :-) if it's easier for peeps to discuss this privately, my e-mail is vikkisummerfield@gmail.com.

so once we've come up with the name, deb can set up the account and i can then email ross about the ace membership.

@summerfield @olivetreeann @summerfield @taffy @dibzgreasley @espyetta @bill_fe

sorry, "it's a toy's life" may have already been registered but i will check tomorrow our database to see if it and "toyables" are registered names.

i have to be careful because some people at the office visit 365 to check on my posts.

@summerfield @olivetreeann @summerfield @taffy @dibzgreasley @espyetta @bill_fe Great idea to move to an older post Vikki!

My email is debbie.buzz@gmail.com. Will email with other ideas. Yes, then I can set up the group and get started.

Ann has suggested that perhaps our first theme could be a take off on those name tags that say, "Hello, My Name Is..." and we could use this as a way to introduce one (or more) of our toys.

Vikki will get back to us with legal options.

@summerfield @olivetreeann @summerfield @taffy @dibzgreasley @espyetta @bill_fe

I agree Taffy, I like email too! We have addresses for Vikki, myself, Taffy and Ann, so please let me know yours. I'll email everyone later today with updates.
November 6th, 2014
@summerfield @bill_fe @taffy @olivetreeann @dibzgreasley hey you guys.... So this is about the toy project? Vicki! Are you going to manage it?! :0) my email is
espyetta1@gmail.com
If you cannot get me at that address for some reason.... Tag me on here again. I have another email address but would like to use the one above because I get less email on it and will be less likely to have messages buried in notifications emails
November 6th, 2014
@dibzgreasley okay... Debs ... I see now you are managing it? I glad someone could do that. Keep me posted
November 6th, 2014
@dibzgreasley where is he beginning of this toy conversation??! Seems like you had been talking to Vicki before this. I saved all you guys' emails but I do not see Ann's and I guess Bill's ... I know I do not really need them but was just saving them in case needed
November 6th, 2014
@espyetta Hi MaryBeth, the thread started on Ann's rust photo here: http://365project.org/olivetreeann/365/2014-11-03

Yes, I've offered to manage it. I will email everyone later this afternoon with an update, so thanks for your email address. Ann's isOlivetreeann@mail.com Cheers
November 6th, 2014
@dibzgreasley it sounds like fun!!!! Thanks for leading the group and @summerfield for getting the ACE account
November 6th, 2014
fun and creative capture Ann
November 6th, 2014
@olivetreeann @taffy @dibzgreasley @espyetta @summerfield
Thanks for offering to pay for the ace membership Vikki.
Vikki has my email address, I'd prefer she send it to you all rather than posting it online. She can copy me on it, and then i'll have all of yours also. I agree, much easier to keep track of thing in email instead of searching through obscure threads.
November 6th, 2014
@taffy Taffy, I've changed my email address. I still have yours, if you'd like I can email that to Vikki. @summerfield
November 6th, 2014
@bill_fe thanks. Had already given it to her. Oh well.
November 6th, 2014
@olivetreeann @taffy @dibzgreasley @espyetta @summerfield @bill_fe

i had to comment here as we're not allowed to access our personal e-mails from our computers. in any case, we may want to stay away from the word "toy" or "toys" or "toying" as well as the other names suggested previously are all registered trademarks, trade names, and business names. i've searched all possibilities and i've gone through stuff i shouldn't be looking at. but since "toy" or "toys" is a generic name, we can just go with that if it's not taken on 365 yet. we can then have a tag of @toyson365 or some similar stuff. if you have any other name to suggest, tag me here so i can look it up in the register. i will explain at length why getting a unique name is quite important.

@summerfield @taffy @espyetta @dibzgreasley @olivetreeann
Can we use anything with avatar?
November 6th, 2014
@summerfield You said you'd explain later...so ....I guess I should not ask this, but is the legal problem with the group name or taking and posting of pics of toys ...is there a copyright problem? ????
November 6th, 2014
@summerfield @taffy @espyetta @dibzgreasley @bill_fe

Sent out an email today- but will suggest this here too: TWWOT (meaning The Wonderful World of Toys)- makes for a simple tag too. And sounds like Twat if you sound it out. Toys on 365 is ok too.

Are we all straight on the emails now?

And ditto on the THANKS Vikki for the ACE account!!

@olivetreeann @summerfield @espyetta @dibzgreasley @bill_fe
