When we were splitting and stacking the wood back in the Spring we found an old pulley stuck in one of the trees. It was probably used for a clothes line. It was really embedded in the tree, so Jeff left it in. We finally pulled it off the stack the other day and since it was small, it was safe enough to burn in the woodstove. With temperatures in the fire box reaching about 1200 degrees F. we weren't worried about it doing any damage! In fact, as you can see by the above collage, the whole thing (even the metal) melted rather quickly! Start in the lower left, move upwards and end in the largest square for the approximate sequence.
I've done another large upload so please do not feel obligated to comment on all of them. We will be playing with the grandchildren for the next few days, so my commenting may be limited as well.
