Thank you Nina, Katy, Teresa, Pyrrhula, Sally, Brian, Marilyn, Chris, Margaret, Dione, Nicole, Alia, Leana, Joyce, and Taffy!

For those who wanted to know, Pyrrhula is correct. It is a large inner tube they use here to float along the Delaware River. It is quite popular- especially in the summer. Most of the Delaware is quite pleasant to canoe, kayak or go tubing and there are only a few spots with #4 rapids. All of them are avoidable though as the Delaware is a good distance from side to side (but not as wide as the Mississippi!). This one was standing up on display in a Recreational store that rents them out for people to go tubing. The area that looks like water bubbles is not water, but in the original shot it was dust and specks of who-knows-what on the store window! Thanks to selective coloring it looks a lot more interesting now!

@cjphoto Thank you Chris! I take that as a very high compliment coming from someone as creative as you!

Interesting shot. Before I read the caption and your comment, above, I thought it might be a baseball flying into the catcher's mitt.
September 27th, 2015
Yes, It looks like a big yellow mitt.
