It was mostly gray today after the morning snow flurry. But the activity at the birdfeeder kept me entertained. There were turkeys out in the woods too, but they were too far away and clustered amongst the trees so that I couldn't get a shot of them. Then this little fellow landed on the feeder so I turned my camera on him. I really don't know how they hold their heads like that for so long! It hurts my neck just looking at them!
Awwww, great minds think a like!! I just took a photo yesterday of a Nut Hatcher too!! We have a lot of these at our feeders and I just love to watch them!! They are so comical!! Love how they hang upside down and beat the crap out of the seed to break it open!! Most birds peck the seed but these beat the seed against something to open them!! They have to have some strong feet to hang like they do! Love your details and POV!! Instant FAV!
