I was about to wash my breakfast dishes when I noticed the sunlight catching a spider web in front of the kitchen window. Picked up my camera, put on the macro lens and tried my best to stand on tip-toes and shoot through a dirty window to capture this. Oh, and did I mention it's been really windy today? You can see the results of that breeze on the web. It's been a good month for bug shots! First the katydid, then the ladybug and now this spider. I almost got a butterfly today too- but it wanted nothing to do with the camera lady.
Thank you so much everyone for the awesome favs, and all the views and comments. As many of you noted, the lighting was perfect and not to be passed up. I'm not a huge fan of spiders either, but he/she is actually quite small- and I was behind a glass window!
