I knew you would come up with a beauty. I was armed with your instructions on how to photograph the moon but alas got totally confused with the settings. (Note to self: spend some time on learning about the manual settings)
@cruiser I don't have my camera set on manual- it's on AV (aperture value). I set the camera ISO to 200 and keep the white balance set for daylight, I let the camera decide everything else. Once I've zoomed in on the moon, I press the shutter down half way to give the camera the ability to adjust the focus and then click.
@vesna0210 Thank you Vesna! Yes, the moon does come really close during a Super Moon and it's very noticeable when it rises. This shot was taken a little later in the evening but thanks to my zoom, it appears as large as it did when it first came up.
