Beach Ball by olivetreeann

Beach Ball

One positive thing about walking slower- you see things others miss. My fellow photographers made it out to the seals before I did, but they missed the soccer ball. Having a son who's a college coach in the sport mandated I take advantage of the moment!
I love this composition, so subtle and pretty. A fav.

CoolM after the Japanese tsunami, well a year or more after, a soccer ball washed up here, with a name on it in permanent marker, but in Japanese character. I saw the story on the local news but never saw if an owner was found, alive.

@allie912 Thank you so much for the fav Allison!

@ckwiseman @pandorasecho @susale @wendyfrost @salza @peterday @twinsplusone @henrir @daisymiller @grammyn @radiogirl

Thank you Carolyn, Dixie, Wendy, Suse, Sally, Peter, Henri, Sharon, Daisy, Katy and Kathy! It looked ok in color too, but the black and white did a better job in bringing out the texture of the shells and scuffed up ball.
