A Different Rainbow Color

Some folks have switched up the colors this year giving them a little more freedom with blue, indigo and violet- and added in pink. But I'm not a huge pink fan! I don't mind it, but I don't have a lot of pink things soooooo... I decided to really go off the beaten path and add brown into my rainbow. It's a fairly prevalent color around here right now so here's the first installment from the wood pile.

I think brown is a great choice. I had thought of white, or gold, but with the granddaughter pink is everywhere.

At first I was going to stick with the traditional ROYGBIV but I have so little indigo and what I do have I've already featured in the past so I decided to switch it up like a few others were. I'm glad I did- I think brown is going to be a fun addition when the month view is done.

Now that I'm doing the rainbow challenge, I see how difficult blue, indigo and violet are. Brown is a great choice.
