We had a photo club get together yesterday at our local camera store. The owner set up some macro displays for us to play around with and I brought along a box of trinkets and doo-dads from my (seemingly) endless supply of family knick-knacks. This collection of tie pins and shirt cuffs that belonged to my mother's father provided the color palette for today's brown shot.
Thank you my friends! It was a fun workshop made even more fun by the fact that I had all my little doodads to photograph!
@nicolecampbell I do- I've always had a high interest in it and one of my aunts recognized that. When my grandmother passed she gave me a lot of little things that no one else seemed to care for but she knew I'd treasure them. That was on my father's side. These came from my mother's father- and they came to me when I helped my mother's sister clean out my other grandmother's house after she'd passed. That aunt pretty much gave me permission to take anything I wanted if she didn't want it. I've never really been into big things, so lots of little trinkets came home from there!
@grammyn It's scary how often you and I are on the same page! LOL
