Jeff and I are both battling health issues right now and we seem to run parallel even though the degree of our illnesses vary greatly! He is slowly on the mend from pneumonia but his energy level swings back and forth from day to day. Mine does too, but not as widely. I had to deal with the flat tire today. I really wanted to stay home, but I also had to deliver a photo to an exhibit venue, so it was time to run some errands and take care of life. On my way home I was pleased to be stopped by a train! (Only a 365er would be happy about being stopped at a train crossing!) I pulled out my little point and shoot and shot away. A dull gray sky demanded some post processing magic to transform the dreary shot into something more interesting.
Massive upload today in an effort to catch up. Don't feel obligated to comment on them all!
A magnificent locomotive. sorry to hear you are both dealing with health problems. It always happens doesn't it, David and I seem to be spending more and more time at medical appointments over the last year. I drive him to appointments and he drives me to appointments.
Wonderful photo and processing. Fav.
Sorry to hear about your illnesses. I know so many people fighting strange viruses that linger for weeks! Rest and take good care. I hope you two are better soon!
Great capture of this imposed train and the nice processing.
The normaly tide different is between 3 to 5 mtrs,. ( 10 - 17 feet) .
Hope you feeling better soon.
Thank you Sarah, Debs, Kerri, Chris, Connie, Babs, Paul, Lou Ann, Marilyn, Rebecca, Haskar, Joan, Ferry, Henri, and Wendy! I appreciate all the views and comments as well as all the good wishes.
Thank you everyone! I have definitely turned the corner and feel much better today. Jeff is also feeling more of himself and was able to work a little bit with a helper doing all the tough stuff. You are all so thoughtful and it means a lot!
@bkbinthecity Thank you Brian! @sandrajo Thank you Sandra (Sandi?? Good to see you back again if so!). @vignouse Thank you Richard and thank you so much for the fav! You are absolutely right about the texture. Although it's an interesting work horse of an engine, the sky totally detracted from its character. So I thought adding the grungy texture back in might recapture it. Guess I figured correctly this time! @tremerryn Thank you Tremerryn! @bokehdot Thank you Michelle and thank you so much for the fav! @caroli Thank you Carol and thanks for the fav too!
Thanks to all for the well wishes. I think we've come through the worst and will be fine from here on out. I still have a bit of congestion but I can breathe now and am sleeping well. Jeff is on the mend too- feeling much stronger every day. We appreciate everyone's good thoughts and prayers!
I hope you are both on the mend soon.
