Our photo club had a speaker on the history of photography last night. His presentation featured many forms of early pictures (Daguerreotype, Tintype, etc.) which I found really interesting since I have several from my own family in my home. I was taking some pictures of them to send to him via email so he can confirm the types I have today and since I was using my 50mm lens I decided to turn one into my nifty fifty shot. The picture of the album was to show him where some of the photos are kept. I did "cheat" a little bit by adding the vignette. The shot I sent him just looked too boring! But you know what they say here, "Your project; your rules!"
Thank you Bill, Sarah, Kathy, Taffy, Diane, Shutterbug, Dorre, Dione, Marilyn and Gloria!
Two of my photos were chosen to be a part of an exhibit on the history of Monroe County and the reception is tonight so I'm off and running. I hope to view your shots before the grandchildren arrive for a visit tomorrow, but I might be awol until they leave on Sunday. Thanks again for your views, comments and favs. As always, they are truly appreciated!
