Is it live or is it Memorex? That was the catch line of an old TV ad here in the US which challenged listeners to tell the difference between reality and a tape recorder recording. So is this a real deer or just a plaster one?

Well, Lou Ann and Bill your gut instincts were right and Dione you are correct! This is NOT the real deal- it's a plaster replica which sits in my front yard. The grass has grown wild this year since my knee has been out of commission. I'm surprised so many of you were fooled by it!
