The final day of March proved to be an event for the LeFevre household- hubby tested positive for Covid which meant I was positive too. Thankfully we are among those who have very mild symptoms and we'll weather this thing without too much trouble. I've said all along I'd rather just get it and get it over with so I guess that came to be! So now I'm catching up from my lost day with the final rainbow installment. I really had fun with the colors this year!
Oh no sorry to hear you have Covid. Wishing you a speedy recovery. I hope you had all your supplies stocked up for your quarantine.
Lovely end to your month, is it stained glass?
Thank you so much for all your well-wishes! We are doing ok all things considered. Symptoms continue to be mild and both of us have broken the fever. Now we're just tired and a little achy. So we're on the mend!
@vesna0210 No, it's been over 2 weeks since my overnight hospital stay. We think Jeff picked it during his travels to and from job sites but who knows?!
@grammyn I was tested before my surgery and negative then. Comparing how I felt when I had that one done with now, I'm certain I picked it up from Jeff before we were sure he had more than just the average flu symptoms and got his test. I had a recipe for a concoction very similar to your flu remedy (without the whiskey and made with garlic) which he used the other day when he was at his worst and it really did speed things along. We're arranging to get some zinc, ginger and lemon today to make a tea my d-i-l recommended to boost the immune system. I know a lot of people are quite fearful of this virus but thankfully my experience has been not scary at all just a bit uncomfortable.
@yoland Thank you Yoland! We were caught a little off guard as far as supplies but we can order curbside pick up for the basic things we need and not come into contact with anyone to get them so we'll be ok as far as that goes. And yes, this is stained glass. It was originally part of a candle holder my son made in high school but over the years, the side panels didn't stay attached so now it leans up against the window in my living room. The cross is yellow but the other squares were altered for this upload.
@olivetreeann Well I am sorry to hear he has Covid but I was eager to see if my remedy helped at all. I had discussed it with Someone about wouldn’t it be crazy if that would cure Covid ❤️
A lovely colourful end to the month, but I am sorry to read about the COVID. If it is mild, then all will be well. Make sure you keep posting so we know you are ok!!!
Looks very nice all those colorful patterns and lines.
Hope you get not to much problems with covid and get well soon. Both of you.
( Saturday I get my second vaccination.)
The photo is a nice one. I like the pattern and the colorful glass. I hope you continue to improve. Am I right that you did not have the vaccine before this?
Hope it was as mild as mine (only 3 days of not feeling well) but another week to get strength back. Get your shots when you're safe to. This is an interesting piece and enjoyed reading its origin.
Very nice calendar. I love the week with all your little helpers. So sorry to hear you have covid. I hope it continues to be mild and that you recover quickly.
Sorry to hear that you and Jeff both tested positive for covid. I hope that you are over the worst of it. Keeping you in my thoughts. Take care and stay safe
I am catching up on previous comments as some days are busier than others. Missing your community spirit and hope you both recover as quickly as possible.
Thanks for all your comments- as some of you know already thanks to my April 19th post, my symptoms did not stay mild. Jeff's improved steadily but mine worsened and on Easter Sunday I could barely breath. Jeff and I changed our opinion to thinking maybe I had pneumonia but by Easter Sunday I could barely breath. Read the rest of the story on April 19 in the main album...
@gardenfolk Thank you CC- yes we are being very careful and I will not be out in public until the end of May. That's 2 weeks longer than what's recommended but what I feel comfortable with. It's a horrible virus but we did survive- answered prayer!
