My backyard can look pretty bleak in Spring. There is no snow to decorate the naked trees. There are no leaves on them to show that they have life. I think it's a good analogy to my condition those first few days in the hospital. I was in an induced coma, the ventilator was breathing for me and it seemed like the outlook on my life was very bleak. But just like Spring eventually decorates the trees with leaves and color comes back to the yard, my life and breath revived too. Both are a result of the same Creator who gives and sustains life in all things.
Since I was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks I have a lot to catch up on. So I'm posting a chunk today. Please do not feel obligated to comment on them all. I'll only be responding in kind on the current day's photo (May 3). Thanks for checking this one out!
