There were a lot of surfers out on the water but not many catching the waves. This fellow was one of the few surfers that actually caught a wave and road it into shore.

@joansmor I should have posted one from the second set of surfers we saw- they were closer and a little better, but the shots didn't show the numbers like this one did. I still chuckle about how many of them just paddled out there and sat on their boards in the water.
