I was going to submit this to the artist's challenge, but (as always) missed the deadline. This week's artist was Norman Rockwell, a favorite of mine. His paintings graced the cover of the Saturday Evening Post, a popular US magazine, for many years. In today's digital world, pictures are produced at an alarming rate. I can't imagine the dedication it took to paint a picture each week! One of Rockwell's more popular pieces was a self portrait in which the artist is looking into a mirror while he is putting the finishing touches on his portrait. I was hoping to catch my camera in this shot, but just couldn't seem to get the angles right, but at least I'm smiling- something I really have trouble doing when I'm shooting myself.

Thanks everyone! I so appreciate the compliments. I hate doing selfies (as most of you know) and avoid them as much as possible! Please take note Karenann that I am a timid selfie shooter- I haven't done my full face- and probably never will!!
