It was a busy day in the backyard in spite of the rain. Mourning Doves, a Downy Woodpecker and a Grey Squirrel all came to call.
These are definitely NOT my best photos! But I wasn't going out today and I had to make due with whatever was available. So, a busy birdfeeder and curious squirrel came in handy.
@httpgeffed True Colleen- they were really stuffing themselves today! @sanera Thanks Samantha- I just don't have the right camera for it, but the squirrel shot is not too bad. He could sense I was there even though I wasn't moving.
@karenann lol Karenann- if I could talk to the animals! I know they only come for the food, but it's nice to think they appreciate the lady who puts it out for them! @daveanajao Thank you Dave- you are too kind! @sarasdadandmom Thank you Terry- it's missing a few of the others- chipmunks, nuthatches, and more, but it's a good representation. I just missed a shot of the flicker on the suet feeder. @digitalrn Thank you Rick- I did manage to ward it off with lots of fluids and zicam. Thank you so much for asking!
@alia_801 lol Alia- it's grueling! First I have to bring the bird feeder out its hanger (if I leave it out overnight, the deer eat the seeds), and then I must sit back and watch! @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole. I do believe they know where to come!
@cimes1 Glad you liked it Carole- I'm looking forward to the day when I have a camera that can match the pictures I see in my brain when photographing wildlife! I'll be waiting a while!
