The runner-up and more traditional approach to today's challenge word- saved by Heat Map (combustion setting) and Posterize (with the highest amount of colors) processing effects. (It was originally in black and white and very boring!)
Thanks Sharon- this was done on line in Picnik. I took the black and white photo and put the Heat Map effect on the combustion setting. Then I put the photo in the Posterize effect with the highest amount of color. Lastly I added the border frame using colors within the picture instead of the traditional black and white and adjusting the sizes so that the frame was smaller. Picnik is closing up shop in mid-April. I have found a similar processing site called iPiccy which is also free and it seems to have most of the same options as Picnik.
from the thumbnail, i thought you took a photo of you wearing some facial mask to smoothen your complexion! super processing. i'm not a fan of processing but i like this one.
great editing!i have no time to do much editing myself,because i still work,a long way every day and many chores at home!but i like to see other's photos changes!
@summerfield lol Vikki- I'd have to put that stuff on in gobs!! Thanks! @peterdegraaff Thanks Peter! I'm not a big fan of selfies- I'd actually rather eat tacks. But this was the first idea I had for smile and selfies go down better for me when I process them. So it is what it is! @meoprisan Thank you Mihaela- I try not to edit too much because I think it can make you a sloppy or lazy picture taker. But I must say I really have fun playing around with all the effects and such. @eyetoeye Thank you Maria!
@karenann Thanks Karenann!

@alia_801 Thank you Alia- you know my motto: If it's a selfie, you must process it!
