@tesssa Thank you Tessa! I appreciate your kind words! @woot Thank you Davide! @steeler Thanks Howard! @paulavdmerwe Thank you Paula! @kimmistephens Thank you Kimmi! @karenann Thank you so much Karenann! I do have a way of spotting these things sometimes! @kerristephens Thank you Kerri! @prttblues Thank you Bev! @digitalrn Thank you Rick! I was just walking around the house trying to look for something new or something I hadn't seen before and there it was! @bruni Thank you Bruni! @filsie65 Thanks Phil. I call it the "Look and Look Again" rule. It means to look carefully and more than once to catch the artistry in everyday things, or to see them in a different light. @httpgeffed lol Colleen- I have no idea what this really does! I guess it gives the ladder the ability to swing open and closed, but I didn't check. I just shot the picture! Thanks!
Thank you all so much! I really appreciate your encouragement!
@mrssmith Thanks Carla! I was surprised at how sharp the wood grain looked when I put it into the computer. @sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry! Even the paint splatter came out well.
@peterdegraaff Thanks Peter- I liked that too. It's what I think makes the picture different. @sangwann Thanks Dione- that is some very fine paint flecks. This ladder must have been used when someone was painting with a paint sprayer as opposed to a paint brush. It had several spots like this.
very nicely captured. i feel that if i touch the screen, i could get a splinter in my finger. like the texture of the metal against the grains of the aging wood. wonderful capture.
