Beauty

The Crab Apple Tree

Dressed in her best
Extending graceful arms with blossoms full
She delights the eyes
And feeds the passerby
With pollen or an image
Of beauty.

@cimes1 Thanks Carole- this is actually not my tree. It's in the yard of a house by my church. I don't remember seeing fruit on it last year, but I wasn't looking for flowering tree shots then, so it's no surprise I don't remember!
@bruni Thanks Bruni! God sure does show off some of His best handiwork this time of year!

Great shot Ann, the contrasting colors and selective use of depth of field makes this photo for me.

@kimmistephens Thank you Kimmi!
@digitalrn Thank you Rick!
@rhubbard Thank you Richard. Yes, I wanted to downplay the background as this was shot on a residential street and I wanted to feature the blossoms and not the houses.

So beautifully captured, Ann. Lovely flowers and composition.

@sangwann Thanks Dione! I took this near my church and not in my neighborhood and I kept waiting for some person to come out of their house and say, "Why are you taking a picture of my tree?" I was ready to give my 365 Project spiel, but no one came out!
