The band name comes from the TCP fusion entry which describes this as: an implementation of the transmission control protocol in Sun Microsystem's Solaris-10 operating system. I'm guessing someone who's into computers will know what that is!
The album title is taken from a quote by the macrobiotic health guru George Ohsawa who wrote, " Some people think that macrobiotic philosophy is no more than teaching of a diet- the eating of brown rice, carrots, and gomashia (sesame salt); others imagine that it is summed up in the statement 'Don't eat cake and sugar!' How far from the truth!
They made for a great combination, but I'm not happy with the fonts I had to choose from for this album cover. But I made do.
@salza Thanks Sally! They are actually growing on me. The top one was close to what I wanted, but not so much the bottom one. However, every time I look at it I like it a little more! @alia_801 Thanks Alia! @sangwann Thanks Dione!
This is my sister's street. I keep thinking it would be funny to get it printed up like this and tell her this band had a competition and chose my shot for their album cover!
@automaticslim Thanks Automatic! I'm not minding them so much anymore- after all this is just for fun. @wenbow Thanks Wendy. I think something like 89% of the roads in Vermont are dirt roads, but it's so packed down most of the time you'd never know it. This road is as pretty as it appears. It winds its way through forests and farms. And if you think it looks pretty in this shot, you should see it in the Fall when all the leaves have turned color!
I really like your idea. What a beautiful shot of the country road lined with all those pretty trees. I can imagine how lovely it would look in autumn, too.
@kimmistephens Thanks Kimmi!
@digitalrn Thanks Rick!
@dmariewms Thanks Marie! The fonts are growing on me. I do like the colors though.
@alia_801 Thanks Alia!
@sangwann Thanks Dione!
