Very nice! I almost posted a very similar shot today, but then decided on the blackcaps. The milkweed flowers I photographed had a lot of ants on them this morning and it looks like yours has a couple, too. Beautiful flowers!
Oh how lovely! I have yet to capture any butterfly in my entire time of doing this project. I didn't know milkweeds have blossoms... Unless yours are completely different from ours. Very pretty, Ann.
I really enjoy learning about flowers through photography. This is a wonderful take, and I'm so grateful for all of the new things I'm learning from you and this project! Such incredible focus in this shot; it looks as if a bunch of little flowers are coming together to make a larger, single flower...
@gratefulness Thank you Sandi! I have to tell you that when I first started on 365 with this camera, I had no idea how to take this kind of close-up. I was used to my 35mm camera which I had complete control over the focus with. But my digital was a different story and seemed to be hit or miss. Finally one day I lamented to a person I had been following that I knew I would never be able to take shots like hers because my digital didn't do macro shots like my old 35mm. She instructed me that all digitals had some macro capabilities and that I should look for the button with the little flower on it. That simple tip changed my whole 365 project! And shots like this are the result of her generous sharing of knowledge!

Thank you Timothy, Brian, Kerri, Sally, Nicole, Donald, and Roe Jan!
Thank you ladies! @prttblues I wouldn't think so Bev- maybe you just haven't noticed them before when they were in the blossom stage.
