Lovely effect of the processing. Glad you'll be participating... it's fun. These candle holders seem to be from the Middle East, most probably from Israel.
Well, lots of good guesses but a little too far east (with the exception of Mexico which is toooooooo far west!) These little pieces came from Greece. The fun thing I learned about the artwork on Grecian ceramics is that they are painted regionally and each style indicates where the pottery comes from. The little candlestick here was from Corinth and the urn (which is resting on its side) was from Mykonos. It does read "Hand Made In Greece" but of course I cloned out the word Greece for the challenge.
My apologies for keeping you in suspense. Apparently our internet went out Sunday night and we did not know it until last night when Jeff tried to go on line. As you can see it's fixed now, so I'll be back in the game soon.
Nice shot, Ann! .... You didn't give me a chance to guess! :( But I'd have not been able to anyway! Very lovely pieces. I love the design! Nice job on the processing, too. Well done :)
Thank you Nicole, Bev and Diane. I don't know how I missed your comments Nicole and Bev but there was a day when my notifications said I had 78 comments! It must have been then. These little ceramic pieces came from Greece Nicole. I think it was mentioned above. I joined in Alia's challenge for a week, and might do a little more at the end of the month Diane. You can guess then!
