They say, "Where there's smoke, there's a fire" and I say, "If you're talking about our burn pile, that's absolutely true!" I wasn't sure if I'd get a good shot of the smoke on this smoldering box just before the flames took over, but I like the way it turned out. I'm trying to remember to shoot in color and then convert to whichever format I see the picture in. I can see why this is a good approach because I was able to catch a tone somewhere between sepia and black and white for this one which seemed to make the smoke a little mysterious.
