I Finally Found the Key... by olivetreeann

I Finally Found the Key...

...but I have no idea where the lock is!

I don't know, but lately that seems to be the story of my life!

I was planning to do one shot per week for Dixie's "Self Storage" challenge but I missed posting one on my self-appointed day, Saturday. So here's one of my favorite collections- an eclectic array of old keys salvaged from my grandmother's basement a long time ago and added to every once in a while when I find a random key. They were photographed against one of my favorite back drops- my kitchen sink!
That backdrop is perfect - looks like steel and it probably is! They are all brass ones - treasures really!

Really nice. How very odd. The theme of keys has been coming up lately. This is the fourth time in 2 days......

@maggiemae Thanks Maggie! It's my stainless steel kitchen sink. I love using it for a back drop.
@bkbinthecity Thanks Brian!
@summerfield Thanks Vikki! And thanks for the fav! I knew you'd like them after seeing yours. (o:
@mzzhope Thanks Hope! I tried one with them just in a pile, but I liked putting them in a pattern better.
@taffy Thanks Taffy!
@prttblues Thanks Bev! I have a feeling most of them unlocked doors of one type or another.
@traceyhn Thanks Tracey! I think they tend to be a very popular subject.
@jackie8 Thanks Jackie! I don't have a lot of places to do a set up here, but the kitchen sink is always a good bet!
@sangwann Thanks Dione! Those would probably be some very interesting stories.
@digitalrn Thanks Rick! Lots of treasures in a grandparent's home, aren't there?
@kerristephens Thank you Kerri!

These are like the guardians of secrets. Maybe of passages to Narnia or of pirates gold.
