We will be discussing and sharing two photos that illustrate what we love about photography at our next camera club meeting. I decided that since I have literally thousands of pictures to choose from I should give myself some perimeters to help narrow down my choices. I decided that one shot should be personal and from my film days. This shot always comes to mind as one of my favorites. Our family had gone for a walk in the park and Erick (our older son), who was about 7, decided that he would run ahead of us and hide. But I'd seen him jump behind this tree and got my camera ready by focusing on it. As his head began to poke around from behind, I fine-tuned my focus and snap! That little impish grin was captured for eternity on film.
My other shot will be from my digital days and thank goodness I have a week to pick one out because I'm not sure what to choose!
