It's been a while since I did an album cover challenge but I ended up with a good combination this time.
Fred Barnes was an English music hall performer who lived from 1885 to 1938.
The quote comes from an unidentified Jane Austen piece: They went to the sands, to watch the flowing of the tide, which a fine south-easterly breeze was bringing in all the grandeur so flat a shore admitted. They praised the morning; gloried in the sea; sympathized in the delight of the fresh-feeling breeze...and were silent...
When this random quote popped up, I immediately thought of the pictures I took on our last visit to Cape May, NJ; a favorite shore spot of ours. Ahhhh... to be able to watch the sand and sea for just a few hours even!
This is Number One! The quote is just wonderful - I don't remember it at all and the choice of picture to indicate a beach is very innovative! You do need good weather for this sand and sea watching to match the quote and it looks like that here!
