Ran out to do the food shopping this afternoon and discovered the cutest greeter at the base of our mountain. I don't know who put him there, but he sure is one of the happiest snowmen I've ever seen!

But supposedly everyone is prepared, so it shouldn't be too bad. It's been snowing steadily all day but not amounting to much. That is not a complaint though! All my food shopping is done, my tripod is set up and aimed at the bird feeder and the woodstove is keeping the house nice and warm, so I'm definitely safe and sound, and happy! @kerristephens Thank you Kerri! @eudora Thanks Diane! Great find, Ann. So glad that someone built him. He's missing his hat, but he doesn't seem to mind. Whoever created him did a super job and you did a great job taking its portrait.
