Hood Ornament by olivetreeann

Hood Ornament

From my photo shoot with PPC and the Monroe County Cruisers on Friday evening.

I was really intrigued by this car. It was a "Nash" but I'd never heard of them. It was a beautiful car but as always I was even more fascinated with the details like this beauty!
Super cool! I well remember the Nash. That was certainly back in the day.....

I go for details too - you're right, this is a beauty and wonderfully offset with the red background.

A sea nymph springs to mind. Great find.

I remember my father had a Nash Rambler. I wonder if it was the same. I don't remember the hood ornament.

@thresheg @janiskay
Thank you Graham and Janice for the favs!!

@aikimomm Thank you Phoebe! Yes, my husband tells me they are OLD cars!
@summerfield Thanks Vikki! As you know the T3i excels with this kind of shot.
@kerristephens Thanks Kerri!
@basqgirl Thank you Amy! It's a cool car!
@dibzgreasley Thank you Debs! I did try taking some shots of the cars, but they were too close together to really do them justice. So details saved the day!
@janiskay Thanks Janice! I had never heard of them but so many here seem to know them and your father actually had one!
@salza Thank you Sally! Yes, "she" seemed to be some sort of mythical creature. Might have to find out a little more about that on a rainy day.
@henrir Thanks Henri! That's interesting. I forget what "model" this was but it was very much like a station wagon and I remember we had a Rambler station wagon when I was very young. It wasn't a Nash though.
