I'm getting close to actually taking an oil and water shot! I found a different approach using a tumbler and if I'd used my tripod for this it probably would have looked really good. But since it was a bit blurry, I processed it! After a little more fine-tuning, I think I'll finally pull one off!
I'd say you are more than close to "pulling one off." The color combination is delightful. What was your processing? The colors? Whatever, it's another cool image!
Thank you so much everyone! And a special thanks for all those favs! Wow!! I am learning that while I am honored to be the president of my camera club now, it really does dig into my 365 time! An explanation will be posted in my second album on the 12th and you'll see what took up my time this week (and part of next week too!). I will slowly be catching up again- but I thank you so much for being patient with me and for stopping by to take a look at my project.
@aikimomm Had to drastically sharpen it but it was still slightly out of focus, so I bumped up the vibrancy, added the swirly design that makes you think the oil is swirling around and put the frame on.
@pandorasecho thank you for those kind words Dixie! I think I'm just to realistic about it- if it's not exactly what it's supposed to be, then I think a few more pokes and prods I'll get it. In the meantime- ooooooo! another reason to play around in post processing! @grammyn It's close- but not there just yet- but closer than before. @tommykeith Tell her I said thanks !!
And artistic. I love this.
