Our photo club had so much fun today at Aspen Ridge Farm. There were plenty of animals to photograph. Piggy and the Critters had really wanted to come along, but I was afraid the "real-live" animals might think they were a tasty treat if I put them down in the field for a photo! So they stayed home. Piggy did enjoy going through the photos with me though.
These are Icelandic sheep and they are being raised for their wool. You can see the range of colors here too- all the way from a deep, dark black to a creamy white.
When my husband was stationed in Iceland decades ago he bought a couple of coats for me made from Icelandic wool And the selling point was the colors were all natural. These little guys are precious cute. Wonderful shot them, Ann.
Many thanks! They were just as cute in person as you see them here!
