I forget the name of this breed, but the pattern on their feathers is so beautiful. This little lady had managed to get out of the pen, but Meredith caught her and held her out for us to photograph before she was put back where she belonged. She didn't seem to pleased with the camera!
Is she a chicken? If she is she's got beautiful markings for a chicken. If she isn't she still has beautiful markings and you have taken a superb photo of her.
Thank you so much everyone! I had a couple busy days and fell behind on 365 again. Seems like there's a pattern of that developing this year thanks to my role as president of the camera club! Well, at least I can say it's photography related.
A special thanks to those who fav'd this shot!
@grammyn Yes, a chicken but I forget the name of the breed.
@zshadowwalker No, the lens remained unpecked- but you can tell she wasn't happy about it!
Thank you Maggie! Apparently they are good "layers".
Thank you Alia! They are quite beautiful- I tried to get a close-up of some of them together to play with the patterns. But they were very busy- I'll probably end up cropping one to what I want it to be.
