I took several shots of this old air conditioning unit which had an awesome rust pattern all over it. In the post processing I gave the colors a little more saturation and vibrance using a program called "Smart Photo Editor". Once I adjusted that to my satisfaction I went into their "Artistic" effects (there are hundreds of them!) but had in mind that the pattern would look nice with a swirl added to it. They have a couple Van Gogh options but this one accomplished the look I had in mind. So technically the only thing I did was double click on the effect, the computer did all the rest.
