The question was asked if any of the free on-line photo processing programs had the capability of doing split tone processing. The answer is yes- this was done on Ribbet using the effect called "duo tone".
One thing to note in using this effect- an original photo that has high contrast and strong shadows works really well- as you can see. Choose colors that are opposite one another on the color wheel for best results: red/green, yellow/purple, blue/orange.
No need to comment on this- I may move it to my third album as I was just putting together a sample for the 52 Week Challenge Discussion thread.

Thank you Allison, Henri, Milanie, Katy and Lou Ann! Wow- I did not expect this kind of reaction! Thanks for sending this to the Trending and Popular pages!
@onewing Thanks Babs! You will also want to check out iPiccy, BeFunky, and Picmonkey (other than the version we can use here as ace members. They all have "free" versions as well as low-cost premium versions. I think Picasa and Gimp also have free versions. But I like Ribbet and iPiccy best.

I am looking for free post processing programs for our photo course. I will have to check out this one.
@wendyfrost Thanks Wendy!
@randystreat Thanks Kathy!
@taffy Thanks Taffy!
It's not what I would normally do to the moon! But it was a fun exercise for the 52 week challenge discussion.
