The snow began last night around midnight and didn't finish until about 6 pm today! It was blustery and gray for most of the day but the birds weren't deterred from hanging out at the bird feeder and feasting on the seeds. All told- we received about 2 feet of snow from the heavens. It's all shoveled now so we're ready to settle down for the night.
Each one a fabulous shot of those poor little birds. I know they were grateful to you for the nourishment you provided them especially on that cold day
Thank you Lou Ann, Nicole, Leana, Babs, Debs, Denise, Katy, Kathy, and Daisy! I was amazed at how many seeds we went through yesterday- but it was no surprise. Jeff started calling the bird feeder "Airport Central" there were so many incoming and outgoing flights!
@milaniet Thank you Milanie! They've been emptying it out almost daily- good or bad weather. I have an entire flock of Goldfinches who visit throughout the day. They don't always stay through the Spring and Summer, so I'm enjoying their little chirps while I can.
