I bought my grandsons these fun little tents that tuck under the mattress and arch over the bed. They have stars and spaceships printed on them. Here's Isaac peeking out from under his.

@pandorasecho Not really- they "glow" when the light shines through them, but not in the dark. However, you can buy stickers for the tent which do.
@cruiser@radiogirl Yes, a 5 year old would love this- and they have several designs (forest, unicorn, undersea, winter wonderland, space and dinosaurs). I bought mine in a store where selection was limited, but you know me and the moon, so I was going to get this one anyway! Here's the website should you like to check it out:

@gardenfolk Thank you CC! When we moved into this house, one of the bedrooms had glow in the dark stickers of planets and stars on the wall around the moulding of the windows. I left them there because I thought I'd take care of them when we painted the room. We haven't painted the room yet, but the grandkids really like having them on the wall when they come to visit!
@olivetreeann Yes, they are fun for all ages! I even got my grand boys a night light that projected stars on the ceiling in different colors. I think it stayed on for 30 minutes and then shut off. I told my husband I wanted one for myself...I have trouble falling asleep. :)
